Are my items safe during delivery?
Our professional delivery experts are specialist in deliveries, and we are always sure to work with companies that really care about getting your goods from A to B. They will package and wrap your items where applicable and handle the delivery with the upmost care.
I believe my item/s have been damaged during delivery. What can I do?
In the rare event that your item is damaged whilst in the care of one of our delivery experts, their insurance will compensate you for the damage. Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll sort things for you right away.

Can I message delivery experts directly through the site?
We encourage all customers to communicate with delivery experts to ensure that what is being delivered fits the description, clear terms and deadlines are agreed.
Now that I’ve found the company I want to deliver for me, can I just work with them directly?
You can leave your contact details with a delivery expert to discuss the job through other means, but for your safety, we recommend that any transaction takes place through the MoveSavers site. We are not responsible for any disputes, damages or loss as a result of participating withdelivery experts outside of the site.
How do I request a quote?
Getting a non-obligatory quote from our registered transporter companies is easy. Simply tell us what you need delivered on our post job page, upload pictures if you have them, and our delivery experts will provide you with quotes. You’ll be notified by email every time a quote comes through.
I’ve received some quotes, but they’rehigher than my budget.Do you have anything cheaper available?
One of MoveSavers goals is for everyone to access affordable, efficient deliveries.We make sure that every request made on our site is tailored for your budget. You can negotiate quotes with delivery experts directly, or contact us to help you. We’re always on the end of the phone to help you get the best from the site.
Can I negotiate a quote?
Yes!You can message all delivery experts that have quoted you to negotiate. It is then upto the individual delivery experts to decide how or if they’d like to barter further.
How do I accept a quote?
Click on the ‘Pick a transporter’ icon and confirm the transporter you want to work with. This will take you through to the deposit page where you can confirm and pay the deposit required to start the delivery.
I don’t have the full delivery or collection postcode yet.Can I still get a quote?
Yes. You can still list your job without postcodes. Jobs by using the name of the collection and delivery places. You can come back at a later time to edit the listing once you do have the info.
I don’t want a quote for this delivery anymore. How can I withdraw my quote request?
You can cancel a quote by logging in to your account and cancelling it there, or by contacting us and requesting a cancellation.
Paying a deposit
Why do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit is required as a place holder for our delivery experts. In order to offer unbeatable quotes by properly scheduling deliveries, leaving a deposit is a guarantee for the transporter that you want them to do the job.
I don’t want to go ahead with this delivery anymore. Can I get my deposit back?
If, for any reason, you decide not to go ahead, contact us, and we’ll give you a prompt, no-hassle refund.
Putting items in storage
Do you offer storage for item/s?
Some of our delivery experts offer storage facilities. If you need storage for your items, indicate this in your item listing page. Alternatively, you can message delivery experts and ask them about their storage facilities. This may attract an extra fee from the transporter.
Arranging a delivery
I don’t want/need a delivery anymore, but I’ve already paid the deposit. How do I cancel my delivery job?
If you decide to cancel your job, be sure to let the transporter know as soon as you can. Deliveries are scheduled in advance, so the sooner you can let them know, the better, in order not to disrupt their routes and other customer’s deliveries. If you cancel very late, your deposit may be used to compensate the transporter (if the cancellation adversely affects his or her job). You can clarify terms with the company you decide you work with before you confirm the delivery.
Managing your delivery listings
Can I change something on my listing?
You can edit your listing by logging in to your account and selecting ‘View my jobs’. Choose the job you wish to edit, and change what you need to. Be mindful though - sometimes editing your listings may affect any existing quotes.
I have photos of what I want delivered. How do I upload them?
You can upload up to 3 images of the item that you want to deliver. This gives delivery experts an accurate idea of what the job will entail, so they can offer you the best quote possible.
Making final payment
Paying the balance to the transporter
Once the job has been completed, you can pay the balance to the transporter. If you agreed a different fee direct with the transporter, please note that MoveSavers have no control over it and will be unable to step in if there is a dispute. It’s important that details agreed on the site mirror the full transaction.

Only genuine transport providers are allowed to register with MoveSavers. We will investigate the background of your company and verify your identity through official documents before you can offer quotes to customers.
Is it free for my company to offer quotes to customers?
Yes. MoveSavers market place is free to use.
Do I have to pay when a customer accepts my quote?
No. MoveSavers is free to use for delivery experts.
Do you have a minimum use policy?
MoveSavers is a community driven marketplace. You are free to come in and use us as you wish.
Can I contact a customer directly?
You can share your contact details with customers to ensure a great service, but any transaction must be completed through the MoveSavers site, in order to best protect both parties.
Can a customer contact me directly?
Yes. We encourage customers to contact you directly to make sure delivery experts have as clear a picture as possible of the job in hand.
Can I message a fellow transporter directly?
Yes - we encourage you to contact fellow delivery experts. If you can help out other delivery experts or advise on particular jobs, you are welcome to.
I can no longer do a job even though I’ve accepted it. What should I do?
Please contact us and the customer as soon as possible. We will strive to find an alternative for the customer, but the earlier you let us know, the easier it is for us to do this.
I am no longer able to place a quote. How do I fix this?
If you are having a problem placing a quote or with anything else on the MoveSavers website, please contact our team, and we’ll do all we can to resolve any issues for you.
